You might want to check with Wally or Nick from WSA Pro-Ice www.pro-ice.com They had cameras filming for TV that weekend. I think they were going Friday night as well but am not positive.

It is a very long shot but if you check out this clip I think it is the beginning of the race. They only show 23 seconds but maybe if you contacted the person that made it they might have the rest.

It is a long shot but at least it is something to start with. From an eye witness point of view (I was standing on the fence there) it looked like you were struck from straight behind shortly after you put your hand up.
Hope this helps,

No for the camera they had that night, cause my recorder was on, and when i check it, the guy was doing a great job following the front strait, but when the other sled is about to hit me, he turn and went for the leader and then came back when is was finish.

And for the utube one, it's the thursday night first heat of the 600 that i'm pretty shure.

Thanks

Check with Dan Cedolia of Memo Vision / Sno Sled Productions - 705-248-6826 I believe he was there filming that year and may have it. Tell him Steve Landon sent you. His wife may answer the phone, she is a very nice lady and very knowledgeable so she may be able to help you if Dan is not in.

I have a couple of your ER crashes, but not that one, I saw you flying through the air but the snow fog was so bad that I doubt anyone that was filming would have a clear shot of it.
In the 8 years that I have been to ER, the snow fog this year was by far the worst. "Because of the extreme cold temps I think"

A word of advice to the Eagle River Crew. When there is alot of snow dust present you should think about laying down urea or salt that will hold down the snow dust. I was there, Jacko could have had a 5 million candle power light on the back of his sled and he still would have been hit. Bad bad visibility that's it. TK
