WPSA Done?
Did WPSA fold? Apparently the atv side of things is done, and it says the parent company PEI (Powersports Entertainment) filed bankruptcy? Anyone know anything of this?

Chris, that is correct and it was announced today. It's really to bad, but could really help ovals out some if everything falls into place. The manufactures are making so many less units, compared to ten years ago, the money just isn't their to dish out. Are you working on a new sled for next year yet?

it is to bad... but hey... anyone wanna start up a circuit with me?? lol... no WPSA means no national cicuit? I'm sure someone will come along and jump in with a new one though. (and milk it for all its worth)
no solid plans for next year yet, other then i will be racing something, one way or another....dad has a long summer in the garage ahead of him!

Chris, you maybe correct that someone will step up and start another national circuit. If they do tho they'll have way less support from the manufactures and some of the larger teams that were in the Pro National circuit. I know for sure people in the marketing end for the manufactures are saying they really didn't get a full return on dollars spent the last few years. A recreation market always suffers when there needs to be some belt tightning in this country. Good Luck to you next year, and don't make dad work every weekend on your sled either!!

I think all your really goona see is new management in the WPSA National Circuit. so in other words just ownership changing hands, but keeping the same name and identity. Rumor is a few high dollar race teams are trying to work out the deal and buy it together.
