he accomplished to go to a racist church for 20 yrs. must have been alot things he liked about that church. twenty years is along time to listen to Rev. Wright and Farrakhan supporters. as for as legislative accomplishments A big fat 0.

What is truly scary is to think of Obama as being the "Commander in Chief."
I'm sure FIB and MC heard about the U.S. Navy Admiral that was attending a naval conference. The conference included Admirals from the U.S., English, Canadian, Australian and French Navies. At a cocktail reception, he found himself standing with a large group of Officers that included personnel from most of those countries. Everyone was chatting away in English as they sipped their drinks but a French admiral suddenly complained that, 'whereas Europeans learn many languages, Americans learn only English.' He then asked, 'Why is it that we always have to speak English in these
conferences rather than speaking French?
Without hesitating, the American Admiral replied 'Maybe it's because the Brits, Canadians, Aussies and Americans arranged it so you wouldn't have to speak German.'

There are no limits as to how far a republican will stoop to make a non-issue into an issue. The art of distraction is a trademark of the republican party and us dems are really enjoying watching them squirm.
I'm sorry your party is infiltrated with well.... read the board. I haven't read about this kind of idiocy in years. I swear, none of you are free thinkers at all. Your only answer to anything is to kill it. You think that wearing pain on your sleeve is a badge of honor.

You are correct,but being able to convey your intentions through speech,so people understand your intentions,is paramount. The current president has a little trouble conveying his intentions-because he is a horrible speaker. I don't think he's an evil person,he's just stupid and arrogant. But what's the difference? He hasn't been running the country all by himself anymore than Obama will be. Look at who the cabinet and advisors are-they are pulling the strings.
The cold hard facts are this-9 out of 10 people I speak to every week all over the midwest say they are gonna pull the big D in the voting booth simply because they want things to change-they feel we are going backwards and figure a complete 180 will get us going in the right direction.
That being said,I can't wait to see what gas prices do if a Dem is elected. If prices slide down $1 per gallon in the week after Obama wins,it will kill any chance of a republican being elected president again for at least 20 years-because the pattern will be confirmed. The disturbing thing is,I don't think Cheney and the rest care if they ruin any future candidate's chances-as long as they make their fortune now.
The only thing worse than electing a polished polititian is electing a businessman,simply because a businessman is only interested in money-nothing else,and if they tell you different,they are a liar too. See how the circle works?
Barring some unforseen scandal,Obama will be elected-bank on it. Have you seen the crowds this guy pulls in? It looks like an AC/DC concert. Just the other day,McCain had to change venues because they couldn't come close to filling it.
I'm neither here nor there,but if you don't think Obama will be elected-your fooling yourself.

Better check yer calendar pal for the dates that gas prices REALLY went out of control. I'll give you a hint??? When were Pelosi and Co. elected into office? What did she promise to do if she was elected? She was going to get our troops out of Iraq and get gas prices under control. Ya right! Obama will get nowhere. It's easy to get huge crowds when half the people who want you in office are stay at home gov. nipple suckers. McCain's crowd are those out working making the country work.........haven't got time fer rallys. The only way he has a snowball's chance in hell is if he drags Billary around with him as a running mate. And she won't do it!
