Hey just curious what kind of oil everyone is using and why? I use Amzoil Dominator it seems to be very reliable Jon has been using it in his mods for 7 years with no oil related failures.

How many sleds do you know of burning down because of the brand of oil used?

I know I probably sound sarcastic but I am serious. I haven't been around racing long enough to have a fair idea.

I used the Amsoil 100/1 stuff, forget the name, in my ice oval racer and the only thing negative it did was port my cylinders - Benoy never told me it would do that.

You, I can't take serious. You have nothing to offer. You're a hollow tree full of hot air.

So what exactly is a solid tree full of cold air - like?

LOL! blame the oil!

The only oil that I ever used that I thought caused a failure was the Amsoil 2000 series and ironically they only made it for a couple of years and now it's gone.

Personally, I like Klotz R-50

We use PJ1 cause Todd E told us that was all he ran since he started and he probably would not change so we did not change and it works great and mixes easy.

mike the amsoil series 2000 is the new dominator oil. same thing dif name. I have probably used more dif oils than most anyone. IPONE is a good oil and so is pj1. i have been sponsored by bluemarble directly and have had matt run it and a few others and i am now running it full time and it seems to be a very good oil.

I didn't mix it 100/1 - it just had the 100/1 name on it.

And Dfer, I wasn't gettin pissy ya whiner - I was seriously curious as to if anyone had motors go down and it was specifically because of a certain oil.
