I can see where both sides are coming from here, no it's not "stock", but it is also has no gain apparently
but...
then some consideration should be taken about other "non stock" parts that are made by a manufacturer and are more convienient, but give no advantage to a racer.

What Andy is getting at Chubs is that it does not come stock on the motor and therefore is an aftermarket part and not allowed in the stock class. Performance enhancing or not.

This is why this should be the last year of stock.

I agree with Matt , mod 600 and mod 800 let the stock 800's and the 700's with pipes run in the mod 600 class .

Chad what parts are you referring to? As for the only stock thing, a comparison would be anti rachet drives. It was a place where SkiDoo had it and no one else did so they made it legal for everyone. And we can not honestly say it did much but drained $150 plus a new track out of our budget.

Steve,
I don't mean any certain parts. I'm just wondering what is "stock"
This does open the can of worms about the "get rid of stock" movement, which I'm sure will be discussed at length again at this years board meeting. Personally, i don't have an issue with the bearings, if there is no foreseeable advantage.

I'm all for the the 600 mod rule but with more discrepancies like mabye alowing a 600/440 based motor pumped up to a 660 or 685/700 max, no 670's being pumped up to 685/or what ever is do-able.
I'm not going to do the big bearing kit after all, it just dowsn't seem cost afective.
