Per the current rules, stock sleds can already narrow the front end up.

If we add this combo class, I think it would make sense to add a combo drag class as well.

buy the time you spend 2g to get the polaris or doo motor that is out and pay 3g to get it done you would have 5g into it.

what i am saying is if stock right now is 36in stance but the new rule states that we can narrow it up as much as we want can it still run the stock drag class?

and if i have a 04 rev chasis and put in a 07 800 motor out of a rev chasis would it still be stock?

If it came out of a rev chassis than it should be stock, Rite? I'm pretty sure just about hardly any bodies chassis years and motor years match(accept for motor rype IE; ho motors/non ho/non ves) I think we should just keep it simple for now and open the doors after this upcoming year. Keep the 36 inch ski stance and OEM/stock rear skids. I wouldn't know from excperiance butt not narrowing up cant be the end of the world just look at the #442 and #2 sleds the can't be much loess than 36". Lets just Mod the 600's than let them run in stock 800 drags and be done with it.

we still want the stock 800 drags to be an entry level class i think. do you think new drivers would want to run against a mod 6. did you see the sled from NY that was a mod 600 dragger. that sled is almost as fast as the best mod 8s. it is not good for the sport doing that. jrs sled is much narrower on the right side then the 18in from center rule. i am not sure about jeffs but if you speak with the guys who run both a stocker and a mod they would rather drive there mod anyday because the turn so much nicer.

that would not work if we let the NY drivers run because there sleds are around 26

Well than lets. start a pro 600 mod drag class than 600 cc limit period. and let the east coasters run there stance at Grantsburg. The aren't in it for our points any way. You need to be a little more open minded Shawn
