this is not about getting with your buddys and having a good time. We all can do that at the local practice ponds. This is about putting on a great show for the crowd.Having newer looking sleds helps our organization draw more intrest from sponsors and the new fans in the future.

Epping NY had 20,000 spectators... Is this real numbers?

One thing I don't understand about the rule is, 6 year old plastic is taboo but Ski Doo powered Polaris Chassis's in Pro Open are ok... Why doesn't it include the crank case?

Another example and no different would be Dennis's Edge powered IQ.

Steve I really dont know why your so upset about the hood rule its been in place for awhile now. As far as a polaris powered by a skidoo or otherwise the power plants are not the issue are they. And besides the point the crowd really has NO idea what is under the hoods of any of the pro open mods.I think that its time to drop it the rule is the rule and that is it. You had a chance to bring your voice to the boared meetin two weeks ago.We all have to remember this is a race organization and we have rules just as every other sport does.

I didn't make it to Epping this year but with the way the weather was I would say that number is on the light side. My opinion is that mod should be whatever you want. It shouldn't matter what motor is in what chassis. As for the years, It shouldn't either as long as it looks good.

Easy Jon... just a question.

But it does affect what I can pay for your sleds.

If Ole is going Pro this year and if I am building a mod he can only run one year of Pro stock and semi pro open and then he will have to go pro open next year (2010). So I will need to build an IQ mod as Dennis has done. Plus replace his stocker in 2 years.

To be honest with you I would rather he run Semi Pro and stay out of all this******politics.

Good...

I really feel if we are going to stay in this we need to go with an IQ chassis.

And your stocker was no faster then what Ole is riding now.
