Jon,

One other point as you are on the board, the hood rule has been in place for a while now... I believe it has been in place since we started 4 years ago, but if you recall you changed it this year to 600cc.

We did in fact change the wording of the rule this year. Not the end of the world. Lets move forward.

Two things in life are absolute...

1. Women will never understand what it feels like to get kicked in the testicles.

2. Men will never understand the pain of child birth.

I do agree with Jon, we can move on.

I think the EWA needs to pleed it's case with Grantsburg Hockey. Nothing on here will change anything. mailto:info@grantsburgwatercross.com

Ron, those numbers for Epping were light. At the banquet, we were told that their were over 33,000 people. Definitely the largest watercross ever, maybe the grass drag too?? not sure.

On a sad note; MOSHER RETIRED at the banquet. He says he is going to concentrate on making the EWA grow instead. I believe this to be a good decision, hopefully he can come back once everything is running smoothly; this way I can kick his ass some more, even though i did that at Epping LOL I do hope your back on the track once things are running smooth.

Do you think is intelligent to tell those to circumvent the IWA in order to force change, even if for 1 race? Seems like your trying to instigate a confrontation between Grantsburg and the IWA.

And if you do believe it is intelligent to do so, then maybe you should have sent a personal message instead of announcing it on a public forum. Looks like a slap in the face to the IWA, including the board which consists of drivers and values drivers input.

With change there will always be confrontation. But if things dont change they will never have a chance to move forward! We live in the best country in the world THE GOOD OLD USA! do you think we would be the number 1 country in the world if we were not always looking for change. change comes in 2 forms. 1- for the good and 2 for the bad but how do you know the outcome if we dont make changes! only time will tell if this was for 1 or 2. This rule was made for the better of the IWA that is why these rules are IWA rules. We have to look what is best for the IWA and its fans and annual paid members. That is what is great about driver run organizations. If you want changes then you elect people who will make these changes. The hood rule vote which was an unanimous decision by the board will not hurt the IWA. Will it make a few people upadate in a few years? YES. will we loose a driver or 2 in the future? YES but drivers will come and drivers will go. But with this new rule it WILL NOT effect anybody here in the west for at least 2 years. OK after this being said lets start working on sleds the first race is only 5 plus months away. It will be here before we know it

Epping NY had 20,000 spectators... Is this real numbers?

One thing I don't understand about the rule is, 6 year old plastic is taboo but Ski Doo powered Polaris Chassis's in Pro Open are ok... Why doesn't it include the crank case?

No Epping was 33,000 including Todd Palin

We will not go the the Hockey assoc. That is not the way we do things. Anything we do is through the IWA Board

Yeah Yeah Yeah.

It was still cool that he was there. I guess we could settle for a 32,999 crowd. Not bad for us folks in the East
