USSA, when are you going to update your website, no year end class champs, who received the special awards, any changes in the rules for next year? What is going on? Are you going to be around this race season?

They still have the information for the banquet, if someone from there association was trying to get sponsors for this coming season thay couldn't even show them the class results. That's just not right.

Motorman-
Remember USSA is ran by people who have full-time jobs other than racing. Why don't you come to the next board meeting and offer your services since your such an expert on the subject.

Isn't the site kept up by Tiger and isn't it payed for. Also yes these people have full time jobs but I look at other forms of racing and there sites are up to date with in hours on the same type of volunteer system. We all want the sport to grow and sponsors to come in and how can I go to a sponsor when the site isn't kept up and very outdated in the style. Let slook at WSA's web site for example in just looks it is a lot more impresive the USSA's site is. Just my 2 cents on this. I will never tell my sponsors to look at the USSA web site for it really hurts me in signing them to a deal when they think the association is lack luster.

Oldmotor man by the way who are you. Are you afraid to show who you really are. I have read several of your post and agree with some of them and think it wouold just help if you would say who you are.

I am not here to pick on any one. because if you look at our website, you will see that ours is so far out dated that it is almost embarrassing to have it! and it is only because the person that takes care of it, has gotten very busy, and it is very easy to put off.
heck I seen my insurance man a while ago, (he is an avid race fan) and an arctic fan! he was impressed that Gary Moyle had won the WC. again last year. when I told him that Bryan had won, he punched up the derby track website were sure enough it showed in the results that Gary had won? after looking a little closer, we found out that they were the 2007 results.
Todd don't take offense!!
my point is that to be credible to sponsors we should all stay on top of this stuff better? myself included!
we have been trying to do this stuff ourselves, and only one person on our 3 person team has the capabilities, but lacks the time, and some know how. so I am asking for recommendations or contacts that may be able to help us out with a couple websites. we are looking for some one to handle and or create a website for the oval racers alliance, and hopefully if we find a person capable of doing what we need there? they could help us an possibly other teams with websites, since we would all be sharing a common interest. (Getting Noticed)
any help steering us in the right direction would be much appreciated!!

seems to be the norm. other oval sites havent been updated either. internet websites are a very important communication that should not be put off.
