I would like to get a print copy of the rules. I would love to run a couple of these races but need the rules to see if I have a sled that can meet that can qualify.

I'm planning on contacting them tomorrow to get the rule book so I can evaluate whether or not to try it this year. The I-500 has always been the race of all races in my book and if I can run just a part of it that would be the biggest rush I can think of. Hopefully I can keep everything together to make it all 3 days, regardless of my time, finishing would be like winning 1st time out.

Decisions, decisions.. Which machine to run...

Prolly the ZR...shocks will still support the weight of the machine after that beating. Maybe.

I agree with you on the ZR, not only does it have Fox clickers up front but it also has the dial adjuster for the front shock in the skid. It's the ZR 2K edition. And since it is some what rare I don't think I can bring myself to use that one, don't want to trash it if I take a bad bounce somewhere.

Just for fun though I am still thinking of running at least one race this season to check it out. Probably use the EXT 580, it may not be the latest and greatest machine on the snow but in it's day it was one of the best chassis out there. And actually one of the best of all time as many people have said. I love the way it handles, just doesn't have the travel that my newer machines have.

Got lots of things already scheduled this season so I will have to see if I can squeeze in a race somewhere in Feb or March.
