For the record. Ricky Arbour is still clinching it. I called him a month ago and he did not send it and he was a no show. I would have prefered to give it personally to Aaron. He and the West guys did a great Job.
I would like to personally thank the IWA drivers. I had a blown head gasket and they came to the call and helped me get into my race. Thanks Dennis, Aaron, Kenny and Leo! You guys are awsome.
.....This is not the first time the trophy was late. You west guys don't remember because you were no waiting for it. LOL

Just want to thank Kenny for asking me to come with him to Elmira and Aaron, Larry, Leo, and Dennis for letting me hang with them and even shower in the same campsite!! Just taking in the sights, guys! Ha, ha!
Larry is not only a killer on the throttle, but also on the camp stove! Thanks for keeping everyone fed and you did a great job for your first time racing drags! The guys are lucky to have your help in the pits all of the time. You are dedicated and appreciated...and now, a threat on the water! Way to go! I heard the EWA might be sending you a bill for that fence, though- JK!
I am very proud to say that I even got the privilege of doing 4 laps with the winner of the "West-East Challenge" (renamed)- sorry, Scott (Ha, ha!) Thanks, Aaron- THAT WAS GREAT!!
You guys all put on a great show and the EWA crew couldn't have been more hospitable- Thank you very much!
I have pictures from the weekend and hopefully my computer will cooperate so I can email them to Jen to put on the IWA site.
Spectator numbers were down from previous years, from what I understand, but the people that were there thought it was awesome! The kids from the neighborhood around there were especially excited and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with the racers who took the time to talk with them and autograph anything from yearbooks, pictures, clothing, arms, legs, foreheads, even bikes!! Nothing was left unsigned! That's what it's all about, guys!
It was a great experience!
