I will be racing - most of the pro-ice, ER and hopefully as many USSA as possible.

I'm new to F500 and planning to run Beausejour, hopefully both races. Looking forward to getting back at it after being out of racing for 15 years. Still need to have my sled shipped from Wisconsin to BC.

Speaking of shipping, any suggestions on what shipping company might be the best and most reasonable. I was thinking Yellow Freight.

consider using forward air. have facilities all over wisconsin and are pretty reasonable regarding shipping.

I sold a sled last year and shipped it from Maine to Northwest Territories and used Yellow Freight. It went well and didn't have any issues.

Thanks for the info. Yamaha19, do you recall what it cost to ship the sled from Maine to NWT? (Nice website, by the way)

I'm surprised Eric would actually use any service with a name like Yellow, all they know Yamaha Blue

I see not many have responded here but I know there are aprox. 15 in the mid-west and 30 or so in the East. This was the biggest class in the east last season and will be even bigger this year, I have sold parts to 7 or 8 new racers all across the country. One reason this class is so popular in the East, besides being inexpensive, is they have it seperated into Pro and Semi-pro and they actually force the better drivers to run pro ONLY. The mid-west circuits should follow this lead since this is the ONLY CLASS WITH SUBSTANTIAL GROWTH in the last few years. John H.

Additionally to John's Statement,

It is definitely become one of the most entertaining classes for the fans, with good close racing , small crashes, which is the kinda action the fans like.

We had a race when the winning F500 sled came across the finish line with basically only one ski
