1) State pension fund $44 Billion in debt; worst in country.
2) Cook County ( Chicago ) sales tax 10.25%; highest in country.
3) Chicago school system rates among the worst in country.

Sens. Barack Obama

Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr.

Gov. Rod Blogojevich

House leader Mike Madigan

Atty. Gen. Lisa Madigan (daughter of Mike)

Mayor Richard M. Daley (son of Mayor Richard J. Daley)

None have stepped up and taken responsibility; instead they're blaming each other.
(Can't blame Republicans, there aren't any!)

However we're happy to report that Chicago's one GREAT PROFESSIONAL TEAM (they only have one), the Chicago White Sox are BACK IN THE PLAYOFFS. The minor league team from the northside, the cubs are on the way to being swept (again).

Okay that doesn't inspire much confidence....I am going to visit my Sister who lives in Chicago this weekend.
