Can't in good conscience vote for either. What I find funny is that McCain is by for the most liberal candidate that the GOP has ever had up for election and you guys along with the talk radio pundits are praising him...

Face it, I look at it this way, neither can do any good with our current situation, in fact, 22 days after they get in, they will start the re-election campaign for 2012. An Obama presidency will be like being mauled by a grizzly bear, a McCain presidency will be like sitting in your car in your garage with the motor running, both will lead to certain death, but one is a bit more tolerable...

Holding your nose a voting for what you feel is the lesser of two evils won't change anything in Washington. Got to vote these folks out of office, it's the only power we have in this country.

I look at it this way, the problem in this country is that while we "elect" or legislaters, we don't "choose" them. I'm going to vote 3rd party for the 4th straight presidential election. Too many good men have died giving me that right, to waste my precious vote on somebody that doesn't have the best interest of my country at heart.

I'll be voting for Chuck Baldwin, Constitution Party.

Max

You could have just told us you were wasting your vote vs. us having to read all that idealistic thinking!

Ken, Tell me how am I wasting my vote? Because I won't jump on the bandwagon of "Change" or "Drill baby Drill"???

Not voting is wasting your right to vote, voting for somebody that doesn't fit your expection for the Presidency just to be partison, is wasting your right to vote.

Neither Obama or McCain do anything for me, and I would rather go on record as opposing each party's choice in November while still exercising my right to vote.

You cats go ahead and hold your nose and vote for one of the Republicrats, I'll go into the future knowing I voted for whom I felt was the best choice.

Your vote makes 0 difference - your guy can not win. So you get all high and mighty on your idealism and make no difference. If that is what gets your goat, then go for it. Pretty selfish though just to think about yourself and not what is best for your country.

You have to believe one of the two is better for the country than the other, by not voting for the one you think is better (that actually has a chance) - you are wasting your vote. Doesn't make you a bad person, your just not patriotic

Lacy.....under that theory you should be voting for Obama cause he has the best chance at winning to not do so would be unpatriotic.

Here's the problem Ken, neither serve what I feel is best for the country. So you say I should meekly think I chose the lesser of two evils and be happy about it? Sorry Ken, can't do it.

You vote your way and I'll vote mine, but come next year, I'll still feel good about my vote. Hope you can say the same.

I just don't understand voting for a 3rd party candidate at this time. Try as I may, it just baffles me because imo a 3rd party candidate vote has no chance of changing anything, good or bad. It's like paddling a canoe in a circle cuz you aren't going anywhere.

I'll always feel good about my vote, I make the most well informed vote at the time, if he turns out to be a screwup worse than the other guy could have possibly been. Then oh well. If you feel bad, because the "politician" you voted for did a piss poor job, then your gonna live a pretty depressing life. I am not saying that is right - but that is the way it is.

Mikey - I say he should vote for Obama or McCain - otherwise it is a wasted vote. Obviously I lean towards McCain, but that has nothing to do with my argument about a wasted vote.

Also, my theory is to vote for a candidate that has a chance. Only McCain and Obama have a chance.

You no-difference makers are having a hard time comprehending this, maybe I need Adam my 4 year old to explain it for ya in simpler terms!
