just recieved word from one of the board members. that the SOO I-500
will be having pro/am races. with the rules to be posted shortly on the i-500 website. the pro/am races will take place thursday evening feb. 5th after the rookie round up.

600 cc max i beleive can be stock or mod i think they still have to finalize everything. the race will be a 40 lap race with the first 20 laps to be driven by a beginner/amature then the last 20 laps driven b the pro driver kinda give it the true meaning of a pro/am race

I love the pole night concept too.

ya they are working hard up there. trying new things. the 500 should of been doing this all along. anything is worth a try a bring new racers to the track
