else lost there job? Yesterday I was laid off indefintely. Today I had a job interview cleaning at a school district.I'm only going to be a sub cleaner but at least I will have some money coming in. In about two weeks after they do my back ground check on me. Then they should be calling me.
My wife works at this school district and she told me if they need me to be a bus monitor or help serve the food at the school you tell them you will do it.
I can still look around to find a full time job or find a part time job.

I had to leave my wife and kids at home in Michigan almost 5 months ago because of no work at home. I'm a union sheet metal worker working in Vegas now. Only made about a 1/4 of the money I should have into June and couldn't take it any more. Was told I would be working within a week of getting out here but a guy fell off a building and it was about the 6th death this year so everything slowed down. Didn't get hired for almost 4 months. Try paying for a house and family at home and an apartment and everything that goes with it in Vegas off unemployment. Not easy. Luckily there were 3 of us that came here together to split bills. Been working for 5 weeks now and have made almost as much as I did in 6 months at home. Bills are getting caught back up and I can finally fly home to see my wife and kids on Thursday. I can't wait. Hardest thing I've ever had to do is leave my kids and have to miss birthdays, first day of kindergarten, growing up, potty training for my youngest, etc. I just hope my kids will someday understand that Daddy was trying to do what was best for them. Pay is double out here what it is at home but I really don't want to raise a family out here either. Tough decision to make. And don't get me started on how I'm going to try and race at least a few times this year. I've rambled on long enough...

I really don't think either one of them is going to help us. Do you guys think nafta had helped or hurt this country?
What about all these banks that gave out loans to people? Some should have never gotten loans at all.

My wife called today and I made it on the sub list where she works at.
Then the maintenance supervisor called me and wants me to start today at 3:30p.m.
