Are you going to BJ in a couple of weeks for sure?
I have went up there twice to watch you race and you weren't there either time, I really want to watch you on that track.

Yes that is the plan, leaving Nov 30 and hopefully staying after the race weekend for some more testing with my friend Guy Montminy that run a vintage 340 F/A and i should be running is 1979 440 IFS to. But Don't know like anybody else out there that the sled will be in fast shape, but will work at it.

Your sleds are always fast, do you still hold the track record up there?
That race where you broke the record and than the sled broke is on youtube.
Holy sh-t you were flying.
Last year you said at the beginning of the year your vintage 440 motor was showing bigger numbers on the dyno than the champ motor, were you just jokeing or was that true?
I am still a big fan of the Rotory Valve motors.

The current BJ Track Speed Record is held by Dan Fenhaus (driving Gary Moyle's 2005 600 Open Sled) beating Jacques by 1 MPH.

If I am not mistaken, I believe that the actual official track record is held by Terry Wahl at a speed of 111 mph in 2006.

Mike is right.
111 MPH...whoa!!!
Terry is probably at fault for the movement to the 34mm carb restriction rule in the 600 Class. LOL.

Lap times for the 440 to the 600 are really close. As far as speed I think the 440's are running about 100-105 on a good race day. I could be wrong don't spend much time with the radar gun.
go fast turn left ice dirt or asphalt

Last year at the CPTC the faster Champs were running 107-108. I had my Stalker at the end of the front stretch. The fastest speed I saw there was during Saturday Hot Laps. Matt Schultz 600 hit 113 and change over about 5 consecutive laps. I think they had motor trouble later on, but he was the fastest sled on the track all weekend.
Its funny at Beausejour, our champ was running 102-103 in hot laps and Schultz put half a lap on us in 2 laps. You can't miss by much on that track or they get away from you in a hurry!
