Hey guys how the track laying out, all coming together? can't wait till the first weekend in Jan. it has been cold enought to get some frost in the ground. they have been ice fishing over here this week.

Hi Watcher the track was ready about two weks ago, dad and the crew are out dumping water as i type. He said that the track is glazing up nice..there going to dump 20 thousand gal tonight,should be smooth and fast as you requested....more info will be coming the next couple of dsys, and hopefully will have the portage county ice wars site up soon. Everybody get ready should be an awaome time.

Amherst race now has web up and running. Lodging info can be found at www.portage county ice wars.com just tell them its for amherst race so you get the race price.I will try and get some picturers soon.

If anybody out there Honestly wants to know how to put together a race event inside of 8 weeks from start to finish with volunteer help, just ask these guys! WOW! Kudos boys!! Looks like the ice gods are smiling down on you for the next several days also, 2 degrees above this morning.
