Well, at least JR did! Spent the day at the lake testing the Champ. Like any other day of testing, we found about 10 things that didn't work, but we did find a MUCH better clutch setup for the primary and got the sled to holeshot like a MOFO! Pulled hard the whole way too, unfortunately we forgot the radar gun and laptop when we left the house and drove an hour to a buddies place in Wisconny to test on the lake he lives on. Nice place to practice though! Nobody around at all, nothing but cabins on the lake so we didn't see another soul all day. Anyway, we got the thing to thunder out of the hole and it reacts the same way coming out of the corner but we'll have to see what it does on the big end when we get to Beausejour on Friday mornin.

If nothing else, it looks sweet!

A lot of teams have tested aerodynamics in the past few years. Believe it or not, you can gain up to a full second a lap just by running a different hood. Moyles tested it extensively. This is one of their hood designs. They went to a different design for their new Ski-Doo powered Champ.

Other than that, our sled is the basic Hooper Racing Champ setup.
